Drop your guards, there is no way you can escape Mallika Sherawat's charm anymore. And those having any doubts can ask our Chinese brethren, who'll tell how their 2000 years old Great Wall of China couldn't stand the scorching invasion of this barely two films old Haryanvi chori.
Unlike 'other actresses', who are still planning their occidental sojourn, the Jat girl is back from Shanghai after completing her first round of shoot with legendary, Jackie Chan for his next action comedy 'The Myth'.
The movie features Chan in two roles, firstly, a modern day archaeologist and secondly, military commander in the Qin dynasty of the 3rd century BC. Mallika plays the princess from Dasa, an imaginary place that is supposed to be a lost civilization between India and China.
Fervently narrating the whole incident Mallika says, "When I landed in China, I was nervous and excited to meet Jackie. I grew up on his movies. It was one of the best moments in my life."
"There he was in Shanghai to welcome me. He was extremely nice to me. Being his heroine, I obviously had to do stunts on my own. But luckily my yoga and dancing background came to my rescue. We have some unimaginable action in the film. My body is still aching because of those stunts."
In case you're scratching the head in perplexity over how Sherawat landed up in such a plum job, just wait for a moment as she'll retort in a jiffy, "The offer came to me from Stanley Tong, director of the film. He met me in Mumbai and liked me instantly. When he finally confirmed the offer, WOW was my only reaction."
Mallika is also fairly agonised over her hot-scene controversy in Bollywood, regarding 'The Myth'.
"There is no question of nudity here. Chan films are always meant for the families. Even if I want to kiss Jackie Chan, it is not possible. It's really a shame that instead of feeling happy and giving me support people are spreading these kind of rumors," she fumes.
Chan comes to India in October to finish the rest of shoot in Hampi, Karnataka. Get ready for action.
