Manish Goel, the actor who was last seen hosting Star Plus' reality show 'Mahayatra', is trying hard to come back to
the small screen again. But, his age has come in the way of accepting several offers.
As a seasoned actor, Manish does not want to accept a role which is not worthy enough. Manish says, "I don't want
to do anything just for the sake of remaining busy. There must be something that appeals and requires me in that
role."
Manish was offered many roles which got shelved for his age problem. Speaking about the roles offered to him, Manish
quips, "I was offered a show on Zee TV, where I had to essay the lead role of a father of two sons aged 25 and above.
The role was good but the producer said that I do not look that old and the offer was rejected. The same happened with
another show."
Manish adds, "Endemol offered me the role of a negative character in the show called 'Dahan' on Zee TV. But here
also, my age has become a problem as I do not suit that age group. The offer was shelved and now the role will be
played by Yash Pal, who I think is best suited for the role."
The actor seems to have enjoyed hosting 'Mahayatra' in Star Plus as he says, "I might try again for another reality
show. I will be back in action soon."
We wish Manish all the best for his next venture on the small screen.
