The film was awarded an A certificate for the nude scenes of Shrreya, Ankita and Sagnik. The rape sequence of Shrreya, where she was draped in only a sari and dragged by several men is yet another reason for the A certificate.
While the rape scene isn't a part of the film, the prelude is scary too. The love making scene between Ankita and Sagnik, has also resulted in raising the hackles of the censor board. Most of the scenes have been shot in the moonlight which lends a natural touch to the film.
