Dimple Kapadia who debuted in Bobby back in 1973 turns 53 today. The sensational beauty, Dimple, was the discovery of the late veteran Raj Kapoor. He gifted the film industry with this talented actress in Bobby where she co-starred with Rishi Kapoor.

Dimple Kapadia was just 16 years then. Time has flown since then, and the young 16 year old girl is now a mother and grandmother. Dimple was last seen in the 2008 movie Luck By Chance!

She will soon be seen in Nikhil Advani's Patiala House which is set for a release in November 2010. Sources say that she is also set to do a cameo in an upcoming Malayalam flick titled Bombay Mithai and is signing a lot of movies.
