Kareena Kapoor who made headlines for her size-zero figure was signed on as the face of the Japanese electronics giant Sony Corp's ultra-thin laptops Sony Vaio X in the latter half of 2009 and the campaign has been a hit ever since.
Shot in a tube, the television commercial shows Kareena Kapoor carrying the Vaio X, while the commuters envy the size of the laptop, as well as of its owner. The ad is targeted at the young working population, which demands efficiency, portability, easy usability and luxury.
On the occasion of Sony signing on their first ever brand ambassador said Maneesh Rangra, executive business director, JWT said "Sony's products are celebrities in themselves.
