In her forthcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, she has donned the cap of a stylist, make-up artist and hair advisor for herself. She will be playing the role of a girl from the 70's in the film. The film would be directed by Milan Luthria.
Kangana admits that she knew nothing about fashion when she came to the industry. She said that she read a lot about designs and designers and realized that she should develop an individual style and confirms that whatever she wears now is her own creation.
When asked about her research for this particular role, she said she has read about the dresses in vogue those days and has sported a variety of costumes in this film which had been worn by the socialites and actors of Mumbai in the 70's.
Albert Chettiar, a make-up artist in the film said that Kangana had ready directions for everything right from make-up to hair styling. He also addressed her as a genuine stylist and make-up person in the film.
Costume designer Rushi Sharma added that Kangana's tremendous sense of fashion and thorough research for the role had helped them all a lot.
Ajay Devgan would be lead hero opposite Kangana. The character is inspired by the infamous Haji Mastan.
