Kylie was seen clapping and cheering him from the front row during the 'Jai Ho' at Chicago.
However, the bond between the two celebrities is not a newly found friendship. They knew each other very well since the time Rahman got her to sing the 'Chiggy Wiggy' track from the movie Blue, starring Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. The track became popular although the film could not do well.
The Aussie pop princess was in touch with the Maestro of Madras since then and they became good friends. According to a source close to Rahman, "Rahman and Kylie maintained a good relation and remained in touch via mail. She also expressed her desire to work with Rahman again."
Kylie gave a pleasant surprise to Rahman by attending his 'Jai Ho' show in Chicago despite her busy schedule. Showing his pleasure, Rahman tweeted on the singer's page saying, "It feels great to see you again, thanks for coming and cheering for me."
The fans of Rahman can expect more good news. He is planning to come up with a DVD of his successful US tour.
On Saturday Rahman disclosed, "I know all of you are thrilled to share pictures and videos of the US concert. We are planning to launch the DVD of the concert at the end of this year."
