Joining the league of our time-stressed celebs who have taken well to social networking site, Twitter's 140-character format to 'interact' with their fans, Asha Bhosle started tweeting a couple of weeks ago.
Even though she tweets about things ranging from annoying airport security checks, Bollywood, and Cyndi Lauper's Manic Monday but primarily her tweets are about Indian music and R.D. Burman.
With over 8, 000 followers already, she does not write her own tweets and says her 'bahu' (daughter-in-law) or son help her with the typing but assures that the responses are her own.
She has also created a Facebook page where she shares videos and pictures with her fans.
Following her sister, Lata Mangeshkar joined Twitter on Monday however the inexplicable thing is neither of the sisters are following each other yet but Asha did announce her sister joining Twitter and said, she'll 'ask for her Twitter ID tomorrow'.
Tweeting about her thoughts, Lata Mangeshkar, who has also started a blog, has 5, 000 followers already and spent time replying to the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.
