It took Mahima Choudhary three years to find out that a gentleman is nothing but a patient wolf, who is as loyal as his options. And once he gets a good prey like Rhea Pillai Dutt, he pounces at his pound of ample curves in no time.
The candy-floss romance for this 'Pardes' girl met a breakpoint when the philandering Paes committed a fault in their love game.
"I had always felt there was a third person in our relationship," rues Mahima, "I knew it was a married woman since his friends would tell me that I shouldn't feel threatened. But I felt suffocated. Calling off the relationship was a very tough decision for me but in July, outside his Mumbai apartment, I told him it's off."
According to Mahima, she got the first whiff about her erring boyfriend when an airline employee in Delhi told her that Leander had requested a ticket for Rhea, who had missed her flight. Her doubts further gained ground when, assuming her as Rhea, a tennis coach invited her to Wimbledon. Mahima wasn't aware of the booking at all.
But the pretty lady decided to call it quits when she found Paes glued to his phone for hours at her sister's B'day party.
"In any relationship, there has to be love, trust, commitment and loyalty. If any one of these elements is missing, the relationship isn't worth pursuing," says Choudhary.
However, Paes, who is currently out of country for a tournament seems fairly disturbed with his former girlfriend's scathing remarks.
"I don't know what is being talked about, but whatever I've heard is distracting me from my game. My goal is to improve my ranking and play at the Olympics. It's a tough journey for me, just let me concentrate on that for now," he said.
On the other hand, Rhea Pillai, who tied a knot with Sanjay Dutt at a hush-hush ceremony a few years back, denies all the rumors and insists that she is completely unaware by the turn of events.
