Salman Khan recently gifted 25 computers to children at a Bandra shelter. Salman is a regular visitor at Saint Catherine's Home, meeting the children there twice a month.
He learnt during one of his visits that
the children housed there wanted to study computers but there were not enough for all of them. So Salman immediately gave the staff enough money to buy 25 computers. He even accompanied the staff to the shop
so that they can buy the best machines.
While Salman has been doing charitable work for a long time, he formalized it when he founded the Being Human Foundation in 2007. Since then, the actor has contributed to several causes. He raises funds for his
foundation through fund raisers and by selling his paintings.
