A local court in Indore on Monday asked JP Dutta, director of the film LoC-Kargil, to appear in the court on August 9 for allegedly wrapping the coffin of the soldier in a wrong manner in the movie, thus violating the national flag code.

Dutta was supposed to have appeared before the court on Monday in the case, but was unable to do so as he was not well and hospitalised.

Dutta's advocate Chadrashekhar Raikwar submitted a medical certificate in this regard in the court to substantiate his plea, following which the judicial Magistrate (First Class) NK Jain asked Datta to appear in the court on August 9.

The complainant's advocate Shailendra Dwivedi objected to the filing of the medical certificate at this stage and urged the court to issue arrest warrant against Dutta.

A complaint in this regard was filed by the Tiranga Abhiyan Convenor Ravi Atrolia against Dutta in Indore for allegedly violating the national flag code in the film by wrongly wrapping it over a coffin of the soldier.
