7 am: Up and about. Raj and me running in different directions. I have a flight to catch and he has to attend the Bcci meeting. I can't make it cause of a prior commitment.

7.30 am: Papaya-apple-aloevera concoction. Almonds, oatmeal and tea.

8.15 am: Ready. Puja and leave for the airport. Downpour, traffic, waterlogging only makes it more difficult.

10 am: I reach but am delayed due to air congestion. Weather doesn't help, either. In the lounge with Sanju (Dutt) going to Ratnagiri to inaugurate a school for the underprivileged.

12.30 pm: Still waiting. We were meant to come back by 3 pm. Sanju leaves cause he's shooting at 4 pm in Mumbai. I cancel rehearsals cause I know I won't make in time.

1 pm: Take-off! At laaast! Saying my prayers, GULP! Propeller jets always scare me, but we made it safely

2.15 pm: Cut the ribbon, made speeches.No English medium school in 100m radius. Good initiative. Education is every child's right.

3.30 pm: Hunger pangs. Stuff self with sol kadi, palak moong, veg pulao. Dessert: 1 steamed jaggery modak (Maharashtrian speciality) so yummy I packed some!

6 pm: Landed back. Knackered but stop by to get some stuff for the house. Retail therapy..

8 pm: Ah! Home sweet home

9 pm: Dinner. Clear veg soup, paneer bhurji

11 pm: Raj leaving for South Africa. Work and FIFA, hate goodbyes!
