Himesh Reshammiya is a momma's boy and a coffee addict. And that's the only time you'll see those two descriptions in the same sentence.

A sacrifice
Starting today, the singer-composer-actor will give up drinking black coffee altogether. And that's supposed to be a gift to his mom And if you think that's a small sacrifice to make for one's mom consider this: Himesh downs as many as nine cups of the brew a day, everyday.

Says the Radio actor, "My mom thinks too much caffeine is bad for your health. I love my black coffee but will leave it, just for mom. Also, I will take her out for dinner on her birthday and will compose a song dedicated to her."

To each his poison, we say. So if people can drink themselves silly on booze, why can't HR indulge in a relatively harmless coffee addiction, hmm?

Kaam hi Kaam
Himesh Reshammiya has three back-to-back releases, starting with Kajraa Re, which releases August 6 this year.
