After almost breaking up a few months ago, actress-turned jewellery designer Neelam Kothari and model-actor Samir Soni are back together again. Not just that, they're also making marriage plans.
Last year, Mid-Day had broken the story of the two going around officially as a couple ('Neelam and Soni get serious'; Feb 12, 2009) at Tusshar Kapoor's birthday party.
Committed
Says a source, "Since making up after their split last November, the two are now on course for a long-term commitment. Neelam and Samir were recently spotted together at a common friend's birthday party.
They appeared to be very cozy and whatever issues they had between them, have been resolved. They are too much in love and have realised that the are miserable without each other."
Last year, the lover boy had declared his love for his dream girl publicly during his birthday party in Juhu. Soni had announced that he loved Kothari but was unable to define their relationship. An embarrassed Neelam had simply smiled because she wasn't keen on a commitment like he was. Now, that has changed.
Given in
The source feels that her family was the cause of the rift between them, "She has been through one bad marriage and they wanted her to be very sure about the man she chose.
They have finally given in to their daughter's happiness and now, with the family's approval, the couple has been discussing marriage. Once those plans are finalised, the two will reveal them. Till then they have decided to remain tight-lipped."
Says a source close to the couple, "It's true. Neelam and Samir are back together. They are definitely working towards marriage."
Neelam is currently organising an exhibition for her jewellery designs in Kolkata while Samir remained unavailable for comment.
