Attends a court hearing to avoid getting arrested after prior absence

Minissha Lamba was spotted at the Andheri mobile court on Wednesday afternoon. The actress was summoned to attend the hearings of a pending case against Meraj Rehman who sent her obscene messages during November 2009.

A source reveals that Minissha attended the hearings to avoid getting an arrest warrant issued in her name. "She had already missed a previous summon and there was no way she wanted to miss this one. Her lawyer informed her that if she missed it, there would be an arrest warrant issued on her name."

Meraj has, in the past, sent abusive text messages to Sambhavna Seth and Maanayata Dutt as well. Minissha didn't want any of her future shoots jeopardised and decided that attending the summons would be in her interest.
