When Akshay Kumar agreed to play a special role in Faltu, Vashu Bhagnani was thrilled that his relaunch of his son Jackky will have a big name attached to it. However, the situation is now causing Vashu problems.

Akshay is unable to give dates to the project, as he is busy with his other commitments. Since he plays the male lead in three films - Action Replayy, Patiala House and Tees Maar Khan - he just cannot find the time Vashu requires from him.

The first schedule of Faltu has already been shot and the unit is getting ready for the second schedule, but Akshay is yet to give them his dates.

The Bhagnangis are aware that if Akshay backs out now, they will find it very difficult to get another actor in his place.
