Free from any immediate film commitments, a relaxed Hrithik Roshan met business school
students from Pakistan here and discussed an entire range of subjects, from his dancing to his
fondness for Pakistani serials.
The "Koi Mil Gaya" star was meeting visiting students from the Lahore University of Management
Sciences (LUMS) Tuesday evening.
Dressed in a black shirt, he was an instant hit from the moment he arrived at the interaction organised
by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in a five-star hotel here.
Hrithik was surrounded by his excited fans from across the border as soon as he walked in. They
questioned him about his films, his views on Pakistan and his dancing.
He told them candidly that he was never a good dancer. "When I started out my career, I could barely
get the dance steps properly," he said.
And when a student said he was known more as a dancer than as an actor, Hrithik asked jocularly if
there was any point in getting an award for acting.
"I have always loved watching serials that were made in Pakistan. I simply adored watching 'Dhoop
Kinare' and many other top serials that were very popular here in India," Hrithik told the delighted
students.
The star said he would love to meet the students in Pakistan and took contact
numbers and e-mail addresses from everybody. He sportingly signed autographs.
One student even got an autograph on 10 Hrithik posters and the actor signed them all. "I think I have
the time now so let me sign all of them. If I were working on some movie, I'm sure I would have rushed
through it," he told the students.
"I know that I have a lot of fans in Pakistan as I get huge fan
mails from them. I love the people there and if the right opportunity comes my way I will also work with
actors from there," Hrithik told IANS later.
The students from Lahore had met Amitabh
Bachchan and industrialist Adi Godrej as well, said Aneeta Madhok of NMIMS.
