Jannat may be one of Emraan Hashmi's best films, but that does not mean the actor will eagerly jump on the plans for a sequel, especially when the main obstacle is money.

Apparently, Percept Picture Company wants to make a sequel to his 2008 hit Jannat and had even approached Emraan for it.

Plans were to have Kunal Deshmukh, who directed Jannat, to direct the sequel too. But Emraan flatly refused, as Percept is yet to release his movie Raftaar and pay him for his work on it.

Till that happens, Emraan has decided to not agree to the Jannat sequel.
