Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer movie Action Replayy was set to shoot few last scenes of the film in Manali on Sunday. But, the unit had to cancel the shoot as two consecutive landslides in the valley
interrupted their plans.
The producers were trying to finish the shooting on time as they cannot afford the loss of a day with two high profile stars. But as the crew got stranded in the landslide, they had to call off the shooting.
According to a source, "The production crew was almost caught in a landslide on their way to the location, which is close to the Rohtang Pass. The rest of the unit was alerted immediately and selected an alternative
location".
The source added, "But, when they approached the alternative location, one more landslide happened and the unit was trapped then between the two landslides. The producer realized the seriousness of the situation
then".
Army was called up to rescue the team. Now, they cannot plan any shooting as the condition is very bad in Manali.
Sharing the incident, a unit member said, "Considering the landslides, we are now assessing the weather condition before planning for the day. In such a situation, you can realize that you are very small and helpless
in front of the wrath of Mother Nature. We are trying our level best to work under such circumstances".
Director Vipul Shah said, "The weather has been totally unpredictable since last two days and we are very grateful to the authorities, who helped us out".
