More than a decade in the Hindi film industry and SRK is still calling the shots at the top charts in Bollywood. His Main Hoon Na's triumphant success has not only improved his balance sheets but has also made a point that Shah Rukh sells better than Sex at Box office.
In a recent interview to a leading daily, he says, "I've had a good time for the last few years and whenever I decide to make or act in a film, the idea is to bring as many smiles as you can to as many people."
The smile which he brings on the people's faces brings him the awards and those who're unmoved by his work, SRK has one message for you, "If I don't get an award, the award is the loser."
"I generally live by that belief. It's not ego, it's not being competitive; it's just a personal motivator. So I get up every morning and like to believe I'm the best actor in the world," he gushes.
Comparisons still irks him when someone tout the new kid on the block to his legacy. When asked if he sees Shahid as the next SRK in the making, he said, "Only when I go, will there be a next; till then they'll have to wait. Which is about 32 years, at least. If they are touted as the next Bachchan or Dilip Kumar, that will be a real compliment."
Sorry Shaid, you'll have to wait in the queue, it's King's order!
