Shruti Haasan is ready with her new band and is planning a performance in Mumbai soon. Shruti says she has performed in the city many times and loves it here.

She says when she was in the South, wrapping up two of her films, she still managed to perform with her new band in Hyderabad and Chennai and she thinks she will be able to do so in Mumbai too, when she comes here to shoot for Madhur Bhandarkar's next film.

Shruti also reveals that her previous band The Extramentals had disbanded because a key member left to pursue higher studies in Los Angeles.

The new band has now rehashed some old songs and come up with new ones, with music that is much more mellow than that of The Extramentals.
