Silence of director Anurag Basu is taking Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra to a mental asylum! Well, don't start smelling something fishy because Anurag Basu is not unresponsive towards the leading lady of Bollywood. The director is making a film titled 'Silence' with Priyanka in the lead role.

After giving a 'National Award' winning performance in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, the actress is now well aware to get into her character totally before giving a shot. So, our much loved Piggy Chops has now decided to spend some time in a mental facility to get into the skin of her role in Anurag Basu's movie Silence.

Priyanka will be playing a mentally challenged girl in Silence. According to a source, "The film has already signed another leading heroine Katrina Kaif hence Priyanka was hesitant to take up the movie.

However, after going through the script, Priyanka realized the importance of her character in the film and signed it. She has preparing for the role and is planning to visit some institutions".

Confirming the news, Priyanka said, "I will start shooting for Anurag's Silence in January 2011 after completing Don 2. I am preparing for my role. I need to undergo training to perform the role perfectly. I am happy to get such a challenging role, which many of my age do not get".
