Mahesh Manjrekar is gearing up to make a film he had put on hold 10 years ago.

The Vaastav director had wanted to make a love story with Sanjay Dutt and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles, but he then fell out with his good friend Sanjay and so shelved the project. Now that the two have patched up once again, Mahesh is eager to start work on his film.

Tentatively titled Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani, it tells the story of a disfigured man and a blind girl fall in love. Once the two stars give him their dates, he will be ready to roll.
