NO! Don't worry, the show isn't a love story between the two ladies.
It features heartthrob Iqbal Khan making a comeback to the small screen a good 2 years after he was last seen in Waaris.
And his lady love is played by none other than the dishy Dance India Dance finalist Binny Sharma!
The show is an out-and-out love story set in picturesque Hardivar and is slated to hit your telly screens on 16 August.
Even as the two ladies were getting ready to join the cast and crew of the show for a long schedule to be shot partly in Hardivar and at the Pataudi Palace in Delhi, Aruna ji said, "I play the role of Rudra's (Iqbal Khan) mother in the show. She is a shrewd woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. I enjoy playing strong characters and I am sure this role will be a memorable one for my audience!"
Speaking of her role, Sudha Chandran added, "I play Gauri's (Binny Sharma) grandmother. She has been a singer in an orchestra at a time when women pursuing such professions were frowned upon. She is a feisty woman who doesn't really seek social approval and sanction. She's a dominating person and way ahead of her time."
With an assortment of interesting characters and noteworthy actors playing them, Sanjog Se Bani Sangini is one love story that will be worth a watch!
