Actor Anjan Srivastava is set to enter SAB TV's comedy show "Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad Wale".

He will be playing the role of Mr. Sharma's father, who is a friend, philosopher and guide to his son. He completely adores his daughter in-law and showers her with constant praise and gifts.

"Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad Wale is a wonderful and well-liked show. I am glad to be a part of it, " Srivastava said in a statement

Rajesh Kumar, who plays the role of Mr. Sharma in the show, says he is thrilled about working with the veteran actor.

"It's an honour to work with such a great actor. I am a big fan of Anjan Srivastava. It has been an enriching experience working with him, especially for me and the entire team of the show, " he said.

Divyanka Tripathi a.k.a. Mrs. Sharma added: "Anjan-ji's character on the show is a loving and adoring father-in-law. We had a great time shooting with him on the set. He was a fatherly figure for everyone on the set and we all learned a lot from him."
