Mani Ratnam is so shaken by the flop of Raavan that he has decided to put his next production venture, starring Vivek Oberoi, on hold.

The film was to be the directorial debut of Mani's assistant Shiva, but now the producer has decided that he will concentrate on his next directorial venture before going ahead with the production.

He has almost finalised his script and will soon start talking to one of the top actors of the industry to star in it. Once the film is completed, he will give the go ahead to the Vivek project.

This has affected Vivek who was riding on the high Prince had brought him and his next release, Ram Gopal Varma's Rakta Charita would have consolidated.

Now with this film being postponed, Vivek's career will have another not so good lull.
