"Slumdog Millionaire" actor Dev Patel admits the biggest fear he has is that of spiders and he can't even be in the same room with them.

"I am not superstitious but I am a scaredy-cat in general. The last time I was frightened was when I saw a massive spider in the bathroom, " femalefirst.co.uk quoted Dev as saying.

"I had to run out in my towel and scream for my dad, " he added.

The "Last Airbender" star is dating actress Freida Pinto, who featured opposite him in the Oscar winning movie "Slumdog Millionaire".
