Director Ken Ghosh's birthday was on Aug 19, which was the premiere night for his "Fida".

Two other directors, David Dhawan and Mahesh Manjrekar, also celebrated their birthdays during the same week. David couldn't stop beaming as the bouquets rolled in.

"I guess 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' has changed a lot of things for me," he chuckled.

Also celebrating his birthday that week was the elusive Gulzar whose fabulous series adapting the stories of Premchand went on air on Doordarshan this month quietly.

"It's better to do your work noiselessly than to unnecessarily raise expectations," he said.
