"Fida" couldn't catapult Shahid Kapur to a higher plane of stardom than his last year's "Ishq
Vishq", but director Anant Mahadevan is hugely upbeat about the hot young actor who has acted in
his film "Dil Maange More".
Actor-turned director Mahadevan's film features Shahid with the up and coming Soha Ali Khan.
Mahadevan has just returned after shooting in virgin locales of Malaysia. "The places we shot in, the
visuals which we've captured, are so different from what we generally get to see of Malaysia in other
films. And Shahid is rocking."
Shahid is equally impressed by "Dil Maange More" and its director and has given Mahadevan bulk
dates to complete and release the film by November. Incidentally, "Yeh dil maange more" is the
catchphrase from an ad that Shahid did many years ago with Shah Rukh and Kajol. How time
flies!
