Breaks rule for his moohboli sis

Vishal Bhardwaj hardly ever scores music for films made by other production houses. He made an exception for Meghna Gulzar's Milte Hain. Throw in Gulzar admirer Sanjay Gupta as producer and VB was hooked.

Incidentally, Gulzarsaab's daughter is like a younger sister to Vishal. In fact, his son Aasman and Meghna share the same birthday.

Triumphant renewal
Understandably, he made the exception for her film, which stars her best friend Vidya Balan. Based on Barry Creyton's play Double Act, it was also the material for a recent Mumbai play featuring Mandira Bedi and Anoop Soni.

A source close to Sanjay Gupta says, "White Feather (Gups' company) acquired the rights to the Barry Creyton play. And now Meghna will adapt it to the screen with Vidya Balan in the lead. Gupta couldn't have hoped for a more triumphant renewal of work in his company."
