Remember Sonali Kulkarni, the starlet who played Saif's love interest in Dil Chahta Hai?

After being in a limbo for a while, this Marathi mulgi has made a grand comeback. The excitement on her face divulges the importance of her next assignment, which happens to be an Italian film opposite Hollywood legend Omar Sharif.

"I went through a screen test and a photo-session and then a final audition," she recalls and says, "It's based on a true story. I play an Italian girl, a fisherman's daughter living on an island. A prince comes and falls in love with her. I will be learning to speak the language."

What about the oomph quotient?

Smile.. Sonali has already shed her Bollywood inhibitions and tells with a grin, "Oh, there definitely are a lot of hot love scenes in the film but I don't know what their treatment will be."

Directed by Lamberto Lambertini, the film's title would loosely translate in English to Fire and Flames.
