AMAR AKBAR ANTHONY: I used to watch this movie repeatedly because of its climax. I can still recall the end scenes with the three actresses Shabana Azmi, Neetu Singh and Parveen Babi with flowers in their hair and also the disguises of the heroes.

MASOOM: I have always adored its music. It has a beautiful story and it was one of the few movies that moved me even when I was still young.

MR NATWARLAL: Whenever the track Mere Paas Aao Mere Doston played, I felt the Big B was singing only for me. I used to sing it for my friends.

UMRAO JAAN: When I first saw the film I did not even understand it, but I was moved by Rekha's plight. I used to also watch it for its songs.

SHOLAY: How I loved to imitate its characters, especially Gabbar Singh! My friends and I would have great fun enacting the scenes and dancing to its songs.
