Kambakkht Ishq may be over and done with, but producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Hollywood veteran action star Sylvester Stallone still keep in touch through emails. The actor has even promised his friend merchandise from his latest film, The Expendables.
Incidentally, Sly shares his birthday with Sajid's wife Wardha (July 6). In fact, on their birthday, the actor sent him a signed poster. The inscription read, "Great people share the same birthday."
Good luck, buddy!
A source reveals, "Sajid and Sly are very good friends. They are in regular touch. Before the release of Expendables, Sajid sent him a message wishing him good luck and predicted that the film would be a blockbuster."
Nadiadwala confirms, "Of course I am in touch with Stallone. In fact, I told him that Expendables would do a net business of more than `250 crore and it's on the way to being one of the biggest hits of the year." Stallone replied with: "Amen! From your lips to God's ears."
Sajid has watched it nine times already! "It's one of my all time favourite action blockbusters. Just to watch Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis together is a big treat."
After he told Sly how much he loved the film, the actor is planning to send Nadiadwala merchandise from his film. "Stallone has promised to send the merchandise of his film. Subhan (Sajid's son) is a huge fan. He will be very thrilled."
