Asoka is ready and will be released sometime in October. Shahrukh Khan plans to have special shows organized in Orissa and Gujarat. The funds collected will be used for the people hit by the cyclone in Orissa and earthquake in Gujarat.
And hey, those of you who thought that Asoka was a documentary kind of historical film, you are wrong. It`s a fusion of both myth and history. "Santosh Sivan consulted several historians to make the script authentic but they certainly weren`t making a documentary," Khan clarified.
