Filmmaker B Subhash, who has given many hit movies in Bollywood, like Disco Dancer, Taqdeer Ka Badshah, and Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki, is very angry as two new films have used his chartbuster 'I am a Disco Dancer' without taking copyright blessings from him.

The song 'I am a Disco Dancer' turned very popular in the 80s and Mithun turned a household name. The filmmaker has already sent legal notice to Anjaana Anjaani producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Eros. He is also planning to sue Ashtavinayak, the producers of Golmaal 3.

Anjaana Anjaani has used just a sample of the song and the not the entire one. However, Golmaal 3 has allegedly reshoot the song and Seema Desai choreographed it.

B Subhash was quoted saying that he has truly sued then as it was wrong on their part to use the song without his permission. He added that the copyright of the song is owned by him and wanted to ensure that he is not denied the rights.

The filmmaker said that he came to know about it on last Saturday and is left with a very short period of time now. He has already spoken to them and is taking legal action against the makers, Subhash added.

Interestingly, the song has been shot on Mithun himself, who was the face of this popular number in the 80s. On this, Subhash said that Mithun is an actor and will go by what the director says.

On the other hand, Sajid Nadiadwala was quoted saying that he bought the rights of 'I a Disco Dancer' from Sa Re Ga Ma about a year back. He has admitted receiving the notice from Subhash. In the meantime, a spokesperson of Ashtavinayak was quoted saying that they have not received any legal notice so far.

Now, the decision of court will make it clear whether Mithun can rock to 'I am a Disco Dancer' once again after more than two decades or not!
