Now, everyone knows that a climax shooting can't be done in 2 hours.

And Kirti got fever and headache while carrying so much weight throughout the long shooting hours.

For safety, the producers called a doctor to be present on the sets.

'Khichdi' revolves around two families –one Gujarati and another Punjabi.

Everyone knows the five famous character of 'Khichdi' family, that got immense popularity on the television. The Punjabi family consists of 60 members and among them we have Kirti Kulhari.

However, during shooting, director Aatish Kapadia had much difficulty to interact with her.

He used to call the actors by the names of their characters; like Supriya Pathak as 'Hansa'.

But, whenever he would call Kirti by her screen name 'Parminder', sixty Parminders would reply him as all members of the Punjabi family were named 'Parminder'.

This confusion used to delay the shooting by 2-3 hours every day.
