Actor gets measured for wax figure at Tussauds museum at recent sitting in London The Bollywood space gets bigger at world famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds, London. Hrithik Roshan is the latest star to
gets 'waxed' after Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan.
Incidentally, Hrithik is the the youngest B-Town star to receive the honour. He recently travelled to London for a sitting so the artists could measure him up.
Roshan Jr will be closely involved in the creation process, collaborating with the team, deciding a pose and even donating items of clothing for his figure to wear. The figure will be created at studios in London over the
next four months and will cost a whopping £150, 000.
The first step is to craft a perfect clay sculpture from which the moulds are made to make an amazingly lifelike wax figure. Then, a team of skilled hair and colour artists will insert the hair by hand and build up skin
tones using layer upon layer of oil paint; every freckle, mole, dimple and wrinkle are accurately reproduced.
Hrithik's statue will be unveiled late-January 2011.
