It peaked between 8 p.m.-8:15 p.m. at a rating of 4.27 percent, according to data provided by overnight television viewership tracker Audience Measurement and Analytics (aMap). However, it averaged only 2.8 percent through the evening.
The viewership of the opening gala dipped to 1.73 percent as soon as it was time for the unveiling of 14 contestants of "Bigg Boss" by host Salman Khan.
"Bigg Boss 4" was on air for three hours, recording an average TRP of 3.6 percent, 0.8 percent higher than the opening ceremony.
