Arjun Rampal was the only Indian star to walk the red carpet with Justin Timberlake

After sipping champagne with Hollywood hottie Scarlett Johansson in France, Arjun Rampal caught up with performer and actor Justin Timberlake at the premiere of his latest release The Social Network in the US last week.

Says a source, "One of Arjun's close friends asked him to inaugurate his daughter's designer store for Indian clothes and jewellery on Madison Street, New York. He immediately left for the Big Apple last week.

At around the same time, he was invited to walk the red carpet for the premiere of The Social Network. He even attended the after-party at NYC's famed Harvard Club where he met up with the film's cast -- Justin, Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Brenda Song."

The source adds that the Rock On!! star is uncomfortable talking about his closeness to Justin and Andrew. "He has known JT for over three years. The two met socially at an event but Arjun doesn't like talking about it. It was a fun evening for him. He enjoyed walking the red carpet."

Rampal remained unavailable for comment.
