Tell us about Crook and your character in the film.
Crook is a very entertaining film. Though based on issues of racial discrimination, it has all the elements to make it a complete entertainer.
Vishesh films has been doing films where the women characters holds a very strong ground. My character in this film is called Suhani, who has an unadulterated honest vision of one world. She had blind faith in her brother, who means the world to her.
You have just stepped into Bollywood. Still, how has been your journey so far?
My journey has been very eventful...from a small town in Bihar to Delhi, then to Vancuover and now Mumbai. I am very thankful to God for allowing me to visit so many places.
How is it working with director Mohit Suri?
Mohit is a great storyteller and very talented indeed. He is a good human being. It's been a great experience working with him.
Personally, what are your views on racial attacks?
Being an Indian, it feels bad and heart-rendering to hear about racist attacks. I wish that people should change their mind on this issues. As we are just humans, religion or national boundary don't divide us.
Is Crook your first film?
Not really. I acted in a Telugu film Chirutha opposite Ram Charan Teja (son of Chiranjeevi) in 2007 and Kurradu in 2009. But Crook is my first step into Bollywood.
What is Neha's dream role?
Every role is my dream role, but of course it needs to have a good story and a strong character.
What are your hobbies?
My biggest hobby is cooking and reading. I also love to dance. Right now I am reading 'Chicken Soup for the Romantic Souls' and I love to read beside a pool.
Any upcoming releases?
Few are in the pipeline, but at the moment I am listening to scripts. Nothing has been finalized yet.
