Scarlett Johansson's Lips...
Of late, I find myself constantly thinking of Scarlett Johansson's lips. These thoughts seem to completely occupy my mind. However It's not Scarlett herself but more the thoughts of her lips that have me enthralled. So I decided to take this one step further and find out what the cause of my devotion to her lips was.
And like a good stalker that I am, I printed out a picture and then proceeded to cut her lips out of it. It felt a bit cruel to do that and yet at the same time it gave me a morbid pleasure. However finally, there I was, alone with exactly the object of my desire. Her lips...
At first it felt a bit impersonal, just her lips and me alone in a room, kind of strange. Then suddenly, after a long while of staring, I began to see more. Her lips just like the Mona Lisa's are somehow incomplete. As if a smile which wanted to go somewhere but stopped short because something held it back.
A thought, perhaps? What was she thinking? And more importantly, what held her back? These thoughts flooded my senses, they excited me and created a sense of mystery in my mind for Scarlett.
Here was a woman, loved, censured and stalked by millions (including me) yet something held her back from smiling, that full smile that her lips wanted, so desperately.
If you see the rest of her, her eyes, her face, her hair and even her awesome body...they are all shouting her sexuality. Yet her lips, where it all begins, seem out of place.
I begin to think that that is her allure, her strange pull that she has over me and probably most men in the world. That something! that is held back, her innermost thought, her hidden secret, her mystery.
Everything else attacks us through our eyes but her lips are what enters our thoughts and sits in our head. It is there where women are the most dangerous and I discover something not just about Scarlett but about all women.
As long as they are visually appealing, we can control it, the moment they get into our heads, no man in the world can resist them. So for the moment, I am going to let Scarlett invade my brain and take over, but I am also going to take this as a lesson in life.
Watch out for that thing in a woman that you cannot define, it is not what she gives but what she holds back that has power over you. Recognise it early and you may be able to survive. If not, you are doomed...for good or bad is then, upto her!
