Hollywood stars in love have always fancied tattoos and other body art. Now a survey has revealed celebrities who still wear tattoos of partners they have long split with.

Paris Hilton had her ex-beau Nick Carter's name tattooed on her butt just weeks before they parted ways, says the New York Post survey.

Mother of two, Pamela Anderson, changed a tattoo on her finger that read as "Tommy", after ex-husband Tommy Lee, to "Mommy". Lee apparently still has Pamela's name inked on his private parts.

In 1991, Johnny Depp tattooed "Winona Forever" on his upper right arm in honour of his girlfriend Winona Ryder. After the couple split, he changed it to "Wino Forever".

Actress Drew Barrymore today sports a cross held by an angel, with a bar blocking out an old tattoo reading "Jamie" after former boyfriend Jamie Walters.

Halle Berry too reportedly made a similar mistake with baseball star husband David Justice. His name - which she got tattooed on her butt - is today covered with a large blue circle after their nasty divorce.

"Tomb Raider" star Angelina Jolie had extensive body art proclaiming her love for ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton, but now friends say she would go through any amount of pain to erase it.

But actress Alyssa Milano, who had a crucifix on her ankle that bears the logo SRW for former fiancé Scott Wolf, said she now pretends it stands for something else.

"Now I tell people the tattoo stands for 'Some Rad Woman'.
