Himesh Reshammiya will shoot a music video for one of the songs from his first international album, At Da Edge, at the Taj Mahal in Agra, come January 2011.
Roman White, who has made music videos for pop and country singers like Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, will direct.
A source says, "Himesh plans to shoot videos all over the world. The Taj video is based on a romantic track and revolves around a love story."
The album contains 15 tracks. It will be released in 122 countries and no expense will be spared in shooting the videos.
Greatest symbol of love
White says, "I'm a huge fan of love stories, and the idea that I can create a video where people are falling in love, it just makes me smile. Who doesn't love to watch a great love story?
And the Taj is the greatest symbol of love. The key is really touching on the feelings we all experience. We've all had our hearts broken.
We've all felt pain. But, we've all also fallen in love and Himesh captures these emotions in his songs so well... it just amazes me!
I can't wait to get started on these videos and to create some incredible pieces that are not only visually amazing, but also beautiful and even surprising in some cases."
The idea of shooting a music video in India excites him, especially as he has never been here. "I've never been to India, but am simply amazed and intrigued by its culture and beauty.
It's a tremendous opportunity to see one of the world's most fantastic locations and getting the chance to create art while taking it all in!"
About working with Himesh, he says, "I love that all the songs are different from each other from fantastic dance songs to ones with a edge of Rock.
The great thing about that is we can really have a lot of fun with the videos, creating something equally unique visually that goes perfectly with tone and lyrics of each song.
I also love that there are some great ballads with even better love stories."
