As 'Do Dooni Chaar' shows massive upswing in foot falls with every passing days, it is crytal clear that this delightful gem
of a film has seen some very good word-of-mouth and audience appreciation coming its way.
Even as 'aam
junta' is warming up to this Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh starrer, seems like even the big wigs from the world of politics
are not being left untouched either. If sources are to be believed, the word about the film reached the ears of Rahul
Gandhi, who pronto decided to take time out of his schedule and catch the flick in a Delhi theatre.
Informs an eye witness, "I was watching 'Do Dooni Chaar' in a New Delhi theatre when I saw a familiar figure around me.
On closer look, the man seemed to me as Rahul Gandhi himself.
He wasn't there with his entourage so it
made all the more difficult for me to further assure myself that it was indeed Rahul himself. However, I am quite sure that it
was him only. He was accompanied by some people who seemed to be family friends."
While the audience is loving those tiny little jokes that the screenplay of 'Do Dooni Chaar' is peppered with, even Rahul
Gandhi seemed to be enjoying every moment of it.
"Yes, he was laughing at all the right moments, as were we", continues the eye witness, "Since the film has a Delhi
setting to it, everyone in the audience was expected to relate to it.
Also because Rahul, too, has seen Delhi
quite closely over last so many years and has been connected to the 'aam junta', he was pretty involved in the
proceedings as well. I could see that he was genuinely amused at a number of places."
With this Habib Faisal directed film continuing to hold on pretty strongly over the weekdays too, especially up there in
North, where it is going houseful at number of screens even in night shows, seems like Rahul may well be joined by many
of his colleagues in days to come.
Also, it would only help if Rahul himself confirms his presence in the film.
A word from his mouth would only reach out to a million more ears.
Here is some more power to this small film and expecting it to be sustained in theaters for weeks to come despite the
biggies round the corner!
