Noted actress Rakhi Gulzar, who was issued summons in a case of alleged cheating, is expected to appear before a local court.

On July 20, the magisterial court at Kurla had asked Rakhi to remain present before it.

The summons was issued in a cheating case filed by Chandulal Patel who alleged that the actress obtained his services for the construction of her farmhouse at Panvel, but later refused to pay the dues.

Patel filed an FIR with the Chembur police station on May 8, 1999 and also accused Rakhi of forging the account books.
