Emraan Hashmi and newcomer Neha Sharma starrer 'Crook' has released last Friday with scathing comments from the
critics. In fact, the movie goers also showed very less interest in the film and this has made the producer, Mahesh Bhatt
to declare that his movie is already a flop.
Bhatt has already accepted the fact that the film has doomed and he is very sad about it. Directed by Mohit Suri, 'Crook'
deals with the racist attacks on Indians in Australia. The movie could not show good response at the Box Office over this
weekend and this has disheartened Mahesh Bhatt.
The producer expressed his grief over the failure of the movie on the micro-blogging site Twitter. He posted that he is
mourning the debacle of 'Crook' but will take the outcome in his stride.
Crook was released in the theaters with an 'A' certificate from Censor Board. Actually, Mohit wanted to get a 'U/A'
certificate for the movie by editing the topless scene of a foreign actress in the film, but Mahesh was adamant on keeping
the controversial scene.
According to Bhatt, the scene was justified and young generation wants this kind of
sensationalism. However, it feels that even that titillating scene could not draw much of the viewers' attention!
