However, Mallika who turned 29 on Sunday, is busy tweeting her fans about the success of her movie 'Hisss'.
Mallika's fans have appreciated her acting skills and her snake make-up in the movie, over Twitter, no matter how much criticisms she has received from the critics.
A Prayas Nayak tweeted to Mallika: "A film is going to be a hit by the audience point of view but not from the critics point of view, its a hit for ur fans, u do one thing mallika u just swallow all the critics? i loved the movie !!!!."
"Hi 2day in gorakhpur hiss all show is housefull i m get ticket 10:00 pm show by luck, " remarked one of her fan who calls himself 'rishabh_rishi'.
"Watched Hiss yesterday. It is good and your looks are heart touching and acting awesome, " tweeted one of her fans who calls himself 'nagaprabhas'.
Similarly there is one Neel Patel who posted that the tickets of 'Hisss' are not available in Lucknow, and the theatres are running with packed houses: "here in lucknow all cinemas are housefull not getting a single ticket to c u n ur mov.. : ("
Surely, all these Tweets have provided the B-Town 'hot' actress a much needed relief as she has been continuously been pinched by her critics, since the movie released on Oct 22.
Mallika who plays a 'icchadhari nagin' in the movie had to undergo through tough make-up sessions to give her the deadly 'serpent' look, reports said.
The Bollywood beauty had to wear huge contact lenses that even cover the white of her eyes which made her eyes look like a deadly 'nagin'.
She had to take out the lenses after every hour to let her eyes feel comfortable. The nagin costume that she wore in the movie was elaborate and she had to wear it for as long as 8-10 hours at a stretch.
But apart from undergoing painful make-up sessions, she also performed all the innovative things to promote this movie to the audiences, much before it hit the big screen, like appearing with a snake wrapped around her in the iconic Cannes Film Festival.
Mallika who turns 29 on Sunday debuted in Bollywood with a small role in the Tushar Kapoor starrer film titled 'Jeena Sirf Merre Liye Jeena Sirf Merre Liye' in 2002.
But she became a household name for her bold acts in 'Khwahish' and then in Anurag Basu's 'Murder'.
In 2005, Sherawat acted in The Myth, a Chinese film, co-starring with Jackie Chan. She played the role of an Indian princess who falls in love and is rescued by Jackie. The Myth was her first International film.
With 'Hisss' she made her Hollywood debut, and if the movie can help her create nore fans worldwide then she will definitely have a memorable birth day this year.
"in a few hours!! goin to Budhwa niteclub in Dubai w/some friends to ring it in:), " tweeted the glamorous actress, revealing her birthday plans.
"k gonna go do the Birthday thang:) don't wait up for me hee! keep enjoyin d movie, its for d cool kids YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE... ;-), " Mallika added.
