5.30 am: Have prepped myself to not even think about food or water. Anything for Timmy! Will also not be hitting the gym and so, will miss my workout today. That's the most annoying thing!
9.30 am: Am up once again just to hear some news that the moon would be out at 9.34 pm. It had to come out late today, just when I was hoping it would be an easy day and that time would pass in a jiffy.
11 am: The mehendi wali is home. Am excited since I know that after applying it I won't be able to do anything. My mobile is continuously ringing, but can't touch it, feels good to keep it at bay.
2 pm: Finally, hands are free and can do some work. Am sure the mehendi colour would just get deeper and darker. Am now all glued to my cell phone tweeting and returning calls.
6 pm: Going with my mom-in-law to a friend's house to observe how Karva Chauth is celebrated since it's my first time how they sit in circles and how they give the plates. Also being enlightened about the significance of this auspicious festival. Eesha means Parvati and I feel great about it, Eesha means the one who loves and protects, so I don't mind fasting
7 pm: Friends coming home, catching up on all the talk of the town, it's my first Karva Chauth and now I am starting to feel it, I am sure my buddies will help me divert all the attention from that empty stomach.
10 pm: All for the love of Timmy, finally broke my fast and feeling great, its going to be a late night tonight but for sure, it was fun!
