At international fashion showing, Minissha asked for a bare-chested model who would hold her saree's train
PS: The organisers didn't think she was serious. She was!

Minissha Lamba was in Dubai recently to walk the ramp for Zaeem Jamal at the Fashion week.

The actress was told she had to wear a saree.

On reaching there, she realised that the drape came with a long train, so the actress demanded that she be provided with a good-looking male model to walk behind her holding the train, else she wouldn't walk!

A source from the event says, "She wanted a bare-chested good looking model to hold the train of her saree. Initially everyone thought she joking, but when she threatened to walk out, they agreed to give in to her demand."

The insider adds, "She said that it had to be a tall good-looking guy and was very specific about what kind of a model she wanted trailing her on the ramp."

The last-minute requirement had everyone running around, as it is difficult to book a model at the last minute.

The organisers got in touch with a local modelling agency, who sent across a guy who met Lamba's requirements. After approving the model, the actress finally agreed to show the designer's collection.

Minissha admits, "Yes I did ask for a male model to hold my train! I don't see anything wrong in it.

The saree was designed in a way that I couldn't have held the train myself and turned around. Also, it wouldn't make sense to have a girl do it.

So I asked for a guy who would walk the ramp with me. I had a great time at the fashion week!" We're sure the organisers can't say the same.
