However going by the reports, the film has not been able to please the audiences as much as a full time entertainer does.
The reasons for the film to fall flat can perhaps be not one but too many. But the basic problem perhaps would be the touchy issues handled in the film.
The idea of going gay or having illicit relationships is not yet accepted in the wide section of society, despite the fact that this is an absolute bitter truth that prevails in some parts of society. However, the Indian audiences consider going to the movies as the best form of entertainment and such torrid social issues is not what people out for solid entertainment are looking for.
However, this just might be a film for niche audiences, but then that would not amount to call it a big draw at the box office.
Yet if the idea of the film was to drive home the point of going haywire in marital relationships and also the gay rights issues, then too, it does not score fully on the context as the story has too many issues to deal with and as a result it leads to something quite contrary to what it would probably have set out to achieve.
To sum it up the movie is too much of a relationship falling short in the various protagonists' life than anything else. Perhaps, the Indian audiences will take time to digest this sort of a film where everybody is simply not happy.
Perhaps some optimistic instances are what the common man would prefer to watch –at least in films, where they are transformed into a world of fantasy.
